People I Know: Greek Life Aquarium - Monotony

Recently at the Tennessee Association of Museums annual conference, I ran into some folks that have some musical talent. It made me think of other friends that I know who are playing gigs on a pretty basis and that I share a lot of popular stuff but not any of people I truly know. So I thought I'd take the opportunity to do so. With that being said Greek Life Aquarium doesn't exist anymore. One of the band members has moved on to form Tuscon Simpson ,which I will share later. I wanted to start with this song because I love the 80s sound of it.

Reunited-Peaches and Herb

In the category of "Things Kids Get With Their Fat-filled Meal," my 7 yr old received a karaoke CD and he and the 2 yr old sing this song very loudly in the car now. Not sure where you draw the line on cuteness and inappropriateness but I think we may have crossed it.

25 Days of Ken's Christmas Music - Days 11 & 12

Fell behind again, so tonight's a double decker in order to catch up. I've always enjoyed Squeeze and when I heard Christmas Day , it quickly became a favorite. Christmas Day - Squeeze (The volume is a little low on the video so turn it up.) Thus far, my list has included songs that I've known for years but this morning at church the band, lead by Davis Mitchell of Dishwater Blonde, introduced the congregation to a song that I found worthy a mention here and probably a download soon. It is sure to get added to the collection of songs to be played year after year. Shake Up Christmas - Train
